Celebrate Lunar New Year in the heart of Edmonton Chinatown with cultural performances, traditional lion dances, food, family activities and community experiences.
Presented by the Edmonton Chinatown BIA in partnership with the Royal Alberta Museum, the celebration connects 97 Street and the museum through a welcoming Lunar New Year experience for visitors of all ages.
The Goat is the eighth animal of the Chinese zodiac and represents harmony, compassion, creativity and prosperity. Everyone is invited to experience the traditions, stories and community spirit that make Lunar New Year one of the most meaningful celebrations of the year.
