Will I get a tax receipt?

No. CTC is not a registered charity, so gifts are not tax-deductible. You get a payment confirmation by email.

Zeffy asks for a tip. Do I have to pay it?

No. Zeffy is free for CTC and asks donors for an optional tip instead. You can set it to $0 in the form.
